If you often view Clips on the road or in the subway, you will find it very convenient to navigate Clip pages with hardware buttons; you can easily move back and forth between links without tapping on the screen. There are two ways to move between links using hardware buttons while reading a HandStory Clip.

Date Book/Address Book hardware buttons. To use your Palm's Date Book and Address Book hardware buttons in HandStory Browser the same way as you use the Back/Forward buttons of your desktop Web browser, go to menu -> Options -> View Preferences and select the Use Date/Addr Buttons option.

You can use the Date Book button as a Back button, and the Address Book button as a Forward button. For example, open a Clip and tap on any article link to view it. To go Back to the home page (the page with the article links), simply press the Date Book button. To read the same article again, go Forward with a press of the Address Book button.

Clie Jog Dial Back button

If you are a Sony Clie user, you can use the Back button, located below the Jog Dial navigator, the same way as you use the Back button in a Web browser. In addition, pressing the Back button on the home page of a Clip will close the Clip and return to the list view. In the list view, use the Jog Dial to browse and press it to view the document.

In order to use the Back button to close a Clip, go to menu -> Options -> View Preferences and select the option to Use Back Button to Close.
