HandStory is releasing the patch to support PDA devices with PalmOS 5.2.X or later version (Tungsten T3, UX-50, Zodiac). Please note that this patch is not a fully upgraded product but rather a version that resolves the issue at hand. You must execute the installer program after HandStory Suite 2.x version is installed.
If you are a beta test user, then you must install it after you delete the beta version that you were testing from your PDA. A problem might occur if you install the new version while the beta version is still installed.
* Tested PDAs are Tungsten T3, Clie UX-50, and Zodiac (In Zodiac's case, the system supports dual SD card but HandStory does not fully support dual SD card.)

* Palm Browser
. Landscape display mode is supported
- Solved the problem of rewriting the screen when the virtual graffiti area is being turned on or off.
- In the case of the clip with an image, the image size does not change with the change in the display screen size.
. Being able to turn the virtual graffiti on or off is supported. (even during the landscape display mode)
. Solved the problem arising when opening the clip with an image (high-color, 256 color)
- The problem of system crashing or resetting when opening the clip is solved.
- The problem of not showing the image in the clip is solved.
. The problem of system crashing or resetting when viewing the high-color image is solved.
* Converter
. The problem of the converter not being able to store the category and bring in the category information from the Palm Desktop's Memo is solved.
. For Palm Desktop 4.1.2 or later users, we have limited the address change function using HandStory for the problem of error occurring when adding an address. We plan to fix this problem in the next full version release.

. To maintain the compatibility with the previous versions, the category information of the new version is not supported when bringing in the Memo Category.
. Though it is possible to create a 32 kb memo, which is greater than the browser limitation of 4kb in the new Palm Desktop, it is not supported in the HandStory converter or browser.
. Address function is not supported in Palm Desktop 4.1.2 or later versions.
. Zodiac's dual SD card slot is not supported.
. In Zodiac, when viewing a high-color image or a clip with an image, the image might not show properly.
All remaining problems will be supported at the next full version release. |
