6. Registering a Clip in HandStory Converter
Clips that were created in HandStory Clip Editor are not
automatically listed in the HandStory Converter's Clips list. Therefore, users
need to manually register the Clips in HandStory Converter in order to update
and save them to the PDA.
Note: HandStory Converter for Palm was used to explain the steps below. You can follow the same steps for the Pocket PC version as well.
- Registering a Script Clip
- Open HandStory Clip Editor. To run it, select Start -> Programs -> Namo HandStory (or Namo HandStory for Pocket PC) -> HandStory Clip Editor. Or, right-click the HandStory icon in the Windows system tray and select HandStory Clip Editor from the menu.
- In the Clips list box, select a Script Clip to register in HandStory
Converter and click Register Clip.

- The HandStory Converter - Manage Clips window and the Script Clip
Settings dialog box appear. The HotSync user name, Category,
Title, Update, and Images settings can be configured
in the Script Clip Settings dialog box. Click OK when finished.

The Clip has been successfully added to the HandStory Converter's Clips
list.
- Registering a Direct Clip
- Open HandStory Clip Editor. To run it, select Start -> Programs -> Namo HandStory (or Namo HandStory for Pocket PC) -> HandStory Clip Editor. Or, right-click the HandStory icon in the Windows system tray and select HandStory Clip Editor from the menu.
- In the Clips list box, select a Direct Clip to register in HandStory
Converter and click Register Clip.

- The HandStory Converter - Manage Clips window and Direct Clip
Settings dialog box appear. The HotSync user name, Category,
Title, URL, Depth, Update, and Images
settings can be edited in this dialog box. Click OK when finished.
- The Clip has been successfully added to the HandStory Converter's Clips
list.
