The HandStory clipping feature converts Web documents into documents optimized for your PDA display. Users extract information from Web documents and save the information to their PDAs for future use, as "Clips." The clipping process follows clipping rules that are established by HandStory Clips.

The HandStory Clip Editor helps users manage and edit HandStory Clips. "Normal" Script and Direct Clips can be downloaded from the HandStory Clip Service Web page, and the downloaded clips can be managed using HandStory Clip Editor. With the HandStory Clip Editor, users can create entirely new clips, edit existing clips, create new clips from copies of the existing clips, and delete clips. Using HandStory Clip Editor, you can easily convert information from previously downloaded HandStory Clips or from the Web, optimize the information for your own PDA, and then transfer it to your PDA simply by pressing the HotSync button.
